It’s been said “It takes a village”, second part to that phrase “to raise a child,” we’ll also add “and to basically get by in life.” Today, people find themselves nurturing and building their village, maybe they: live outside of their hometown, have lost family members, don’t see eye-to-eye with relatives, have built great friendships, and therefore are creating this space for themselves and their family.
Let’s uncover what a ‘village’ does:
- They are your people or your person
- Your ‘emergency contact’ if you will
- The call when you need to laugh, cry, vent
- They’ll pick something up from the store (does your village need to live nearby?)
- They help babysit and entertain your children
- They’ll take you on that much needed night out
- They’ll be your workout partner
- And so on…
Who’s in your village? And how do they add to your life?
Villages look different to everyone. Singles, partners, kids, no kids – we all need that one person or that troop of people to have our back.
For our clients who are prepping for pregnancy, building your village is especially precious. They stand by you as you go through this courageous process of IVF. They talk to you, support you at doctor visits, listen to your research and new reports, maybe they’ll help you to even take your mind off life for a while.
We are proud to say that we become part of the village. Our team stands in to facilitate the transport portion of the IVF process, and to us that’s something special.
Your village is special and so are you. The inside jokes, the togetherness, the memories, and possibilities for the future. Celebrate each other as often as possible.
Through all of life’s adventures we wish you and your village the absolute best.
